Bonnie Sheppard brings four years of experience as a project developer in the carbon market managing emission reduction projects to Terra Global, specializing in carbon emission calculations, stakeholder engagement and environmental regulations. As a Project Origination Associate on the Project Partner Sourcing team, Bonnie identifies and evaluates high-quality carbon projects and opportunities for Terra’s portfolio. Prior to joining Terra Global, Bonnie worked on numerous emission reduction projects throughout the development lifecycle, from registering projects under Verra and Gold Standard, to delivering carbon finance to wastewater treatment projects in Vietnam and an efficient cookstove project in Nigeria. Bonnie holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Harvard University and a master’s degree in Global Environment, Politics and Society from Edinburgh University.
