Kate Carroll has 15 years of practical, on-the-ground experience in community development, sustainable agriculture, and program operations. At Terra Global, she supports the development of nature-based solutions projects and contributes to the evaluation of their community and biodiversity impacts. Before joining Terra Global, Kate was a project manager with a carbon developer, supporting carbon project feasibility studies and development efforts. Before that, she led the design and implementation of sustainable development programs in Sub-Saharan Africa, most recently with One Acre Fund in Rwanda and Malawi. Kate received her Master’s degree in Natural Resources Science and Management from the University of Minnesota, where she focused on behavior change and the development of participatory design processes for complex, stakeholder-driven environmental initiatives.
