Luisa Vanegas brings 12 years of geographic technology and engineering experience to Terra Global, specializing in GIS and Remote Sensing applied to forestry and biodiversity. She uses satellite imagery and other types of surface representations, models, and data to support the GIS and Remote Sensing team, which provides geospatial solutions for carbon and biodiversity projects. Before joining Terra Global, Luisa applied GIS and RS technologies to forestry, environmental, hydrology, city planning, and transportation projects; she has also been a lecturer at the university for 8 years. She received her undergraduate degree in civil engineering from EAFIT University in Colombia and a Master’s in GIS from Université Jean Monnet in France.
