This paper provides an overview of relevant Conference of Parties (COP) decisions and the current status of negotiations on finance issues related to Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degregation, conservation of forest carbon stocks, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of forest carbon stocks (REDD+).
This series of two workshops leading up to COP 20 in Lima was supported by the USAID funding Regional Climate Change Program (RCCP), in partnership with UN-REDD, IDB and USAID funded Forest Carbon Markets for Communities (FCMC).
