How we Source
Partner sourcing is where Terra identifies and evaluates programs across the global who are interested in seeking climate finance. This phase involves three key steps:
- Partner Origination: Our Sourcing Team employs a multi-channel strategy to identify and build partnerships with governments, NGOs, private entities, and local organizations that can help provide access to high-quality programs
- Information Collection and Partner Assessment: Information is provided about Terra’s process for climate finance, and partner and program information is collected and analyzed
- Screening: Programs are assessed against a strict set of screening criteria and signed off by the CIO before entering the pipeline

RFP For Programs Seeking Climate Finance for NbS
Terra Global is looking for nature-based solutions programs that can be funded by private sector climate finance.
- Our goal is to ensure long-term financial, social, and environmental sustainability through upfront investments as well as long-term purchases of VERRs (verified carbon emissions reductions and removals)
- While not compulsory, Terra Global offers a Request for Proposal tool to help demonstrate the information we need and the quality of program impacts that we are seeking
